GECKO Governance is delighted to be invited to take part in the National ePayments Conference 2016 on Friday, 2nd September 2016 at CityNorth Hotel, M1 Gormanston.

GECKO Governance’s CEO and co-founder, Shane Brett will be part of a panel discussion, called “Brexit: What does it mean for Ireland’s payments sector”

The conference is hosted by The Mill, Ireland’s newest start-up & incubation community based in Drogheda.

This is the second National ePayments Conference,  which has grown from The Mill’s M1 Payments Corridor initiative,  which aims to capitalise on the unique, massive potential from having so many payments companies in the region from Dublin to Belfast. Companies based on the corridor include Coca-Cola in Drogheda, Citi in Belfast and First Derivatives in Newry.

The M1 Payments Corridor can be used to attract US payment firms into Europe, with the help of marketing from the IDA, academic co-operation from Dundalk IT and DCU, and increased interaction between government and industry multinationals.

Speakers include Chris Skinner, author and independent commentator on the financial markets through his blog, the Finanser.com and Michael Wasserfuhr,  SVP Finance & CFO at Vesta Corporation, as well as a board member of The American Transaction Processors (ATP) Coalition.

A full schedule of the event can be found on The Mill and M1 Payments Corridor websites and updates can be found on Facebook

Early bird tickets close today, Tuesday 23rd August, and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
