L-R Damien Cahill, Senior Technical Business Analyst; Shane Brett, CEO and co-founder; Andris Macs, Senior Business Development Analyst

On what was a huge night for local businesses in County Louth, with over 500 invited guests and nominees to the black-tie event at the Carrickdale Hotel, and 16 awards up for grabs, it was an entertaining night for everyone.

The prize, ‘Best New Business under 3 Years’ was fiercely competitive, with new companies Bourbon Boutique, Green Gorgeous, Greenans Products, Shell’s Driftwood and Viska Systems also nominated for the award.

We would like to thank the Dundalk Chamber for the award, and organising such a successful event. Each year, the Louth Business Awards grows bigger and better, which indicates that Louth and the Dundalk area is a great location for startups, with access to such unique facilities such as the Regional Development Centre in Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Speaking at the event, CEO and co-founder Shane Brett said “To be a finalist in these awards was recognition alone, but the prize comes as a huge bonus as the company expands its horizons with new product offerings, new customers and new opportunities.“
